8:15 a.m. Heavy Rainfall Expected by Midweek; Small Craft Advisory in Effect
The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office continues to monitor a tropical disturbance that is expected to move toward the Marianas in the next few days and bring heavy downpours to the area around midweek.
Moderate uncertainty remains regarding potential rainfall impacts but locally heavy rainfall of 5 to 8 inches remain a possibility across the Marianas by the weekend. Flash flooding remains a possibility Wednesday through Saturday. Residents and visitors are advised to take the following precautionary actions:
