Results: No New Cases of COVID-19
No new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 104 tests performed on Saturday, April 3. To date, there have been a total of 7,816 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 136 deaths, 31 cases in active isolation, and 7,649 not in active isolation.

Four (4) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 180 tests performed on Friday, April 2. To date, there have been a total of 7,816 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 136 deaths, 31 cases in active isolation, and 7,649 not in active isolation.

COVID-19-Related Fatalities Reviewed and Adjusted
The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Chief Medical Officer and Territorial Epidemiologist, in coordination with the Acting Chief Medical Examiner, have been conducting a review of all possible COVID-19-related deaths. This coordinated review process has resulted in the classification of two additional deaths as COVID-19-related and has brought Guam’s current COVID-19-related death count to 136.

Results: Two New Case of COVID-19
Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 550 tests performed on Tuesday, March 30. To date, there have been a total of 7,807 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 134 deaths, 25 cases in active isolation, and 7,648 not in active isolation.

GHS/OCD,JRM, NBG, and AAFB to Conduct Routine Testing of Advanced Warning Systems

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), Joint Region Marianas (JRM), U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG), and Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB) will conduct routine testing of the vital communication and advance warning system sirens, respectively, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, starting at 3:15 p.m.

 

GHS/OCD will test the nineteen (19) All Hazards Alert Warning System (AHAWS) sirens in conjunction with JRM, NBG, and AAFB monthly routine testing of the “Giant Voice (GV)” sirens.

Governor Leon Guerrero Signs Executive Order No. 2021-07

Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order No. 2021-07 relative to extending the public health emergency declaration for an additional thirty (30) day period to May 1, 2021, and orders such that:
 

  • GUAM CONTINUES TO BE IN PCOR 3, during which most activities are permitted to operate under moderate restrictions imposed in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community. 

JIC RELEASE NO. 618 - UPDATE: COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics at UOG Fieldhouse

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics on March 30-April 2 & April 6-April 17 at UOG Fieldhouse
COVID-19 vaccination clinics continue through April 2, from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 6 to Saturday, April 17, from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the UOG Fieldhouse. These clinics will administer first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and second doses of both the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is not available at the UOG vaccination clinic at this time.

DPHSS Places Order for 42,040 COVID-19 Vaccines
On Friday, March 26, the Department of Public Health and Social Services’ (DPHSS) Immunization Program placed an order of 25,740 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, 15,000 Moderna, and 1,300 Johnson & Johnson/Janssen (J&J/Janssen) vaccines, totaling 42,040 COVID-19 vaccines for the month of April. All vaccines are anticipated to arrive within three to five business days.

Three (3) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 110 tests performed on Saturday, March 27. 

 

To date, there have been a total of 7,800 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 134 deaths, 31 cases in active isolation, and 7,635 not in active isolation.
