Three COVID-19-Related Fatalities Reported
The Joint Information Center (JIC) was notified of three (3) COVID-19-related fatalities.

JIC RELEASE NO. 842 - Vaccination Clinic Available Today at Northern Region Community Health Center

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) is conducting a vaccination clinic today, November 4, at the Northern Region Community Health Center (NRCHC) in Dededo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The NRCHC Vaccination Clinic is open to anyone who meets the current eligibility criteria for dose 1 and 2 of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines, or the single-dose Johnson and Johnson/Janssen Vaccine. It is also open to those seeking a booster shot.

Community Invited to Participate in World Tsunami Awareness Day 2021

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), following a worldwide initiative through the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), invite the community to celebrate “World Tsunami Awareness Day” (WTAD) on Friday, November 5, 2021, to promote a global culture of tsunami awareness. Tsunamis are rare but can affect many people, especially those living in coastal communities across multiple countries.
