127th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 127th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on January 17, 2021 at approximately 5:50 a.m. The patient was a 59-year-old male with underlying health conditions. He was admitted to GRMC on January 14, 2021 and was a known positive case.

126th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 126th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on January 15, 2021 at approximately 7:19 p.m. The patient was a 49-year-old male. He was admitted to GRMC earlier that day and tested positive upon admission.

125th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 125th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) last night at approximately 7:50 p.m. The patient was a 58-year-old male with underlying conditions. He was admitted to GMH on December 23, 2020 and tested positive upon admission.

Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order No. 2021-01 relative to declaring Pandemic Condition of Readiness 2 (PCOR 2), and orders such that:

Results: 13 New Cases of COVID-19

Thirteen (13) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 449 tests performed on Wednesday, January 13. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 

 

To date, there have been a total of 7,457 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 124 deaths, 115 cases in active isolation and 7,218 not in active isolation.

Results: 15 New Cases of COVID-19
Fifteen (15) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 506 tests performed on Tuesday, January 12. Three (3) cases were identified through contact tracing. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,444 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 124 deaths, 112 cases in active isolation and 7,208 not in active isolation.

Results: Six New Cases of COVID-19

Six (6) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 609 tests performed on Monday, January 11. Three (3) cases were identified through contact tracing. One (1) case reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 

JIC RELEASE NO. 531 - Results: 11 of 706 Test Positive for COVID-19; Community Testing Thursday, January 14 at Yona Gym; Firefighter Tests Positive for COVID-19

Results: 11 New Cases of COVID-19

Eleven (11) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 706 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, January 10, and tests from additional labs from Friday, January 8 to Sunday, January 10. Eight (8) cases were identified through contact tracing. Four (4) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine.
