Results: 18 Test Positive for COVID-19

To date, there have been a total of 6,977 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 113 deaths, 808 cases in active isolation and 6,056 not in active isolation.

113th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 113th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) at approximately 6:30 a.m. The patient was a 63-year-old female with underlying conditions that were further compounded by COVID-19. She was admitted to USNH on December 4, 2020 and was a known positive case.

To date, there have been a total of 6,920 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 112 deaths, 803 cases in active isolation and 6,005 not in active isolation.  

Flash Flood Watch in Effect for Guam, Rota; Prepare for Heavy Rain through Thursday

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam continue to monitor a large trade-wind disturbance located to the southeast of the Mariana Islands, bringing heavy showers. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches is possible. Heaviest showers are expected Thursday night. 

flash flood watch is now in effect for Guam and Rota beginning at 6 p.m. this evening. A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very serious situation.

To date, there have been a total of 6,852 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 112 deaths, 923 cases in active isolation and 5,817 not in active isolation. 

From November 27–29, a total of 84 cases of COVID-19 were officially reported. Fifty (50) of these cases were previously reported by the Joint Information Center on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29. Of these cases, 43 cases were identified through contact tracing. Six (6) cases reported recent travel and were identified in quarantine.
