JIC RELEASE NO. 529 - Results: Eight of 218 Test Positive for COVID-19;Vaccination Clinic Continues at Okkodo High School January 12-13 at 8 a.m.

Results: 8 New Cases of COVID-19

Eight (8) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 218 tests performed on Saturday, January 9, 2021. 

 

To date, there have been a total of 7,412 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 124 deaths, 142 cases in active isolation and 7,146 not in active isolation.

Results: 5 New Cases of COVID-19


Five (5) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 130 tests performed on Friday, January 8, 2021. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,404 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 124 deaths, 134 cases in active isolation and 7,146 not in active isolation.

Results: 13 New Cases of COVID-19
Thirteen (13) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 250 tests performed on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Eleven (11) cases were identified through contact tracing. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,399 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 124 deaths, 129 cases in active isolation and 7,146 not in active isolation.

124th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 124th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) last night at approximately 7:53 p.m. The patient was a 52-year-old male. He was admitted to GRMC on January 6, 2021 and tested positive upon admission.

Results: 21 New Cases of COVID-19
Twenty-one (21) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 554 tests performed on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Four cases were identified through contact tracing. One case reported recent travel and was identified in quarantine. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,378 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 123 deaths, 110 cases in active isolation and 7,145 not in active isolation.

Thirteen (13) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 808 tests performed on Monday, January 4, 2021. Two cases were identified through contact tracing. One case reported recent travel and was identified in quarantine. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,357 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 123 deaths, 102 cases in active isolation and 7,132 not in active isolation.

JIC RELEASE NO. 522 - Vaccination Clinic Resumes at Okkodo High School January 7-9;VAPPC Prioritizes 60-74 Age Group for Vaccinations

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS), in partnership with the Office of the Governor, Mayors’ Council of Guam (MCOG), Guam Department of Labor (GDOL), Guam Fire Department (GFD), Guam Police Department (GPD), University of Guam (UOG) School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the Serve Guam Commission - AmeriCorps Guam Program, will resume its COVID-19 vaccination clinic for those individuals under Phase 1a (healthcare personnel) who are due for their second dose and Phase 1c (individuals 60 years and older) to receive Dose One.
