The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 19 individuals for COVID-19 on Saturday, April 4, 2020 with conclusive results. Six (6) tested positive through DPHSS and 13 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Additional results will be provided later this evening once today’s test results are finalized.

Three (3) additional cases tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 through the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego.
On Friday, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 19 individuals for COVID-19 with conclusive results. Two (2) tested positive through DPHSS and 17 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Only one batch of tests was run by the Guam Public Health Laboratory (GPHL) due to a quality assurance issue with the first batch. These tests will be rerun today and included in results later this evening.
The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam has the following advisories in effect:
A high risk of rip currents is in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan through Monday afternoon. Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away from shore. Dangerous and frequent rip currents are expected along east facing reefs.

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 41 individuals for COVID-19 on Thursday, April 2, 2020 with conclusive results. Five (5) tested positive through DPHSS and 36 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The DPHSS overall count also includes six positive cases that were tested by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego. Additional results will be provided later this evening once today’s test results are finalized.
