JIC RELEASE NO. 14 - 3 Test Positive for COVID-19; Practice Social Distancing, Older Adults Most at Risk

The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 20 individuals for COVID-19 on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Seventeen tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.

A total of 65 tests were performed from March 12, 2020 through March 18, 2020. To date, a total of eight cases tested positive and 57 cases tested negative for COVID-19. The Government of Guam (GovGuam) is aggressively implementing its planned COVID-19 response to identify and contain transmission of COVID-19 in Guam. With any change in status, anticipate timely notification.

JIC Release No. 13 - Department of Public Health and Social Services Updates

As of March 18, 2020, there remains a total of five confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Guam. To date, the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) has conducted a total of 46 tests of COVID-19. The Government of Guam has implemented its planned COVID-19 response to identify and contain transmission on island.

JIC Release No. 10 - Two New Cases Test Positive for COVID-19

The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 20 individuals for COVID-19 on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Two tested positive, and 18 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. 

 

A total of 46 tests were performed from March 12, 2020 through March 17, 2020. To date, a total of five cases tested positive and 41 cases tested negative for COVID-19. It is important to note that the spread of COVID-19 is a dynamic situation and information may change as it develops.
