Stop the Spread Misinformation 
Officials are aware of a video circulating with an individual claiming to be a COVID-19 carrier  and then retracting their statement in a separate voice message. While the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) is unable to confirm or deny whether any specific individual has been tested, or what their test results are, due to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, individuals are asked not to share false information. 

JIC RELEASE NO. 26 - DPHSS Services: Operation Challenges Delivery of Senior Meals; Information Unit of the Senior Services Branch Discontinued

As of March 22, 2020, there were 27 positive cases of COVID-19 on Guam with one (1) COVID-19 related death. There will be additional results later this evening once today’s test results are finalized. 
 

JIC RELEASE NO. 24 - 12 Positive Cases for COVID-19

The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 35 individuals for COVID-19 on Sunday, March 22, 2020 with conclusive results. Twelve (12) tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and 23 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.

A total of 153 tests were performed from March 12, 2020 through March 22, 2020 with conclusive results. To date, a total of 27 cases tested positive and 126 cases tested negative for COVID-19. All 26 remaining confirmed cases are in isolation.

JIC RELEASE NO. 23 - Further Evidence of Community Spread of COVID-19; Two Confirmed Cases Traced to Håfa Adai Bingo

As of March 22, 2020, there were 14 positive cases of COVID-19 on Guam and one (1) COVID-19 related death. There will be additional results later this evening once today’s test results are finalized. 

 

Based on a DPHSS contact investigation, at least two (2) individuals testing positive for COVID-19 frequented the Håfa Adai Bingo Hall in Tamuning.

 

JIC RELEASE NO. 22 - Notices of Violation Issued for Executive Order Non-Compliance; DPHSS Counseling Hotline Numbers Available

As of March 22, 2020, there were 14 positive cases of COVID-19 on Guam and one (1) COVID-19 related death. There will be additional results later this evening once today’s test results are finalized.
