JIC RELEASE NO. 522 - Vaccination Clinic Resumes at Okkodo High School January 7-9;VAPPC Prioritizes 60-74 Age Group for Vaccinations

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS), in partnership with the Office of the Governor, Mayors’ Council of Guam (MCOG), Guam Department of Labor (GDOL), Guam Fire Department (GFD), Guam Police Department (GPD), University of Guam (UOG) School of Nursing and Health Sciences
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 521 - Results: 17 of 501 Tests Positive for COVID-19;Community Testing Continues Tomorrow at Guam Community College;One GDOE Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

Seventeen (17) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 501 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, January 3, and tests from additional labs from Friday, January 1 to Sunday, January 3. Six (6) cases were identified through contact tracing. Six (6) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 519 - 123rd COVID-19-Related Fatality ReportedResults: Zero of 34 Test Positive for COVID-19;Community Testing Resumes January 4 & 5 at Guam Community College; Second Shipment of Moderna Vaccines Arrive on Guam

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 123rd COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 11:50 a.m. The patient was a 68-year-old male with underlying conditions. He was admitted to GMH on December 14, 2020 and was a known positive. 

   

JIC RELEASE NO. 516 - 122nd COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported; Results: Nine of 252 Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 122nd COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) at approximately 2:37 a.m. The patient was a 52-year-old female with underlying conditions. She was admitted to GRMC on November 13, 2020 and tested positive upon admission.
