JIC RELEASE NO. 505 - 121st COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported; Results: 27 of 747 Test Positive for COVID-19; GFD Dispatcher Tests Positive for COVID-19; Exemption Request From Government Quarantine Must Be Made Online

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 121st COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) on December 22, 2020 at approximately 11:16  a.m. The patient was a 66-year-old male with underlying conditions. He was admitted to GMH on December 3, 2020 and a known positive case. 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 504 - 120th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported; Results: Nine of 597 Test Positive for COVID-19

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 120th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) on December 20, 2020 at approximately 11:45 p.m. The patient was an 80-year-old male with underlying conditions. He was admitted to GMH on November 11, 2020 and tested positive that same day.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 503 - DPHSS Phase 1a Vaccination Continues Tuesday, December 22; Pfizer Clears Second Package of Vaccines from Second Shipment

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) will continue Phase 1a vaccinations on Tuesday, December 22 at Okkodo High School in Dededo, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The school cafeteria and gymnasium will be set up as a temporary vaccination clinic. The doses will be administered through closed points of dispensing (PODs).
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 502 - Second Shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccines Arrive;Results of 3-day Vaccination Clinics; VAPPC to Hold Second Meeting

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) has received its second shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines. The shipment of two boxes containing 3,900 doses each of the vaccine arrived Saturday, December 19 through a United Airlines flight, for a total of 7,800 doses. 

   

JIC RELEASE NO. 497 - DPHSS Phase 1a Vaccination Continues Through Saturday; Phase 1a Group Encouraged to Participate

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) will continue Phase 1a vaccinations on Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19 at Okkodo High School in Dededo, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The school cafeteria and gymnasium are set up as a temporary vaccination clinic. The initial doses will be administered through closed points of dispensing (PODs).
