JIC RELEASE NO. 679 - Six of 302 Test Positive for COVID-19; GDOE Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19; COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Schedule; Food Commodities Distribution Continues;SNAP Supplemental Emergency Allotment Issuances for May 2021

Six (6) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 302 tests performed on Wednesday, May 19. Two (2) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,124 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 91 cases in active isolation, and 7,894 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 1.0.
 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 678 - Nine of 480 Test Positive for COVID-19; COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Schedule; Food Commodities Distribution Continues;Two GFD Firefighters Test Positive for COVID-19

Nine (9) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 480 tests performed on Tuesday, May 18. Four (4) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,118 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 88 cases in active isolation, and 7,891 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.8.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 676 - Twelve of 821 Test Positive for COVID-19; UPDATED: Vaccination and Testing Schedule; Additional Resource Provided for COVID-19 Vaccination Verification; UPDATED: Food Commodities Distribution Continues

Twelve (12) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 821 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, May 16, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 16. 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 675 - DPHSS Issues Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 Amendment 1;One of 107 Test Positive for COVID-19; Vaccination and Testing Schedule;Food Commodities Distribution Continues Next Week

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued an amendment to DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 which provides additional guidance relative to arriving passengers from areas with no (active) cases or imported/sporadic cases of COVID-19. DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 Amendment 1 allows for arriving passengers originating from a country with a transmission clarification to quarantine for 10 days at their personal residence or rental lodging.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 673 - GovGuam Quarantine Facility Travelers and Individuals Under Home Quarantine to be Released; Declaration Form Attesting to COVID-19 Vaccination Now Available; DPHSS Stations at A.B. Won Pat Airport to Verify Vaccination Status

On May 15, 2021, in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order No. 2021-10, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Guidance Memorandum 2020-11 Rev11 will come into effect. Concurrently, the DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2020-11 Rev11 will be applied to those who are in the Government of Guam Quarantine Facility (QFAC) or those travelers who are in home quarantine, effective May 15, 2021, 12:01 a.m.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 672 - Sixteen of 841 Test Positive for COVID-19; COVID-19 Drive-thru Testing and Drive-thru Vaccination Every Tuesday;Vaccination and Testing Schedule; GDOE Reports Two Cases of COVID-19;Food Commodities Distribution Continues Next Week

Sixteen (16) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 841 tests performed on Thursday, May 13. Six (6) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,079 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 89 cases in active isolation, and 7,851 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.6.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 670 - DPHSS Issues Guidance Memo 2020-11 REV 11

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 REV 11, relative to amending Guam’s quarantine program for incoming travelers in accordance with Executive Order No. 2021-10.
