Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Seventeen (17) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 1,242 tests performed between Friday, May 28 and Monday, May 31. Three (3) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine.
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) received an additional set of results from virus samples collected on Guam which have undergone genome sequencing by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Virus samples were collected between March 2021 and April 2021.
Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order No. 2021-12, relative to extending the public health emergency declaration to respond to COVID-19, and orders such that:
Eleven (11) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 331 tests performed Wednesday, May 26. Four (4) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,154 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 54 cases in active isolation, and 7,961 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.3.
Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 253 tests performed Tuesday, May 25. To date, there have been a total of 8,143 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 48 cases in active isolation, and 7,956 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.2.
Five (5) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 477 tests performed Monday, May 24. To date, there have been a total of 8,141 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 72 cases in active isolation, and 7,930 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.3.
Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 407 tests performed by DPHSS on Sunday, May 23, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 21 through Sunday, May 23. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. One (1) case was identified through contact tracing.
Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 163 tests performed on Saturday, May 22. To date, there have been a total of 8,134 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 101 cases in active isolation, and 7,894 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.8.
