Northern residents seeking shelter should proceed to M.A. Ulloa Elementary, Juan M. Guerrero Elementary, or Wettengel Elemenetary. Once shelters reach capacity, seek nearest alternative Storm Shelter.
Residents who believe their home is not safe against heavy winds and rains or live in low-lying or flood-prone areas are encouraged to move to a designated storm shelter.
The designated storm shelters are:
Primary Northern Shelters
Astumbo Elementary near Max Capacity (92%) and Machananao Elementary nearing Max Capacity (88%). Once shelters reach capacity, seek nearest alternative Storm Shelter.

Guam is now in Condition of Readiness (COR) 2. Governor Eddie Baza Calvo and Rear Admiral Shoshana Chatfield, Commander, Joint Region Marianas have placed the island and military installations, respectively, in COR 2 as of 7 p.m.
