COR 1 Anticipated at Midnight Tonight
Acting Governor Josh Tenorio anticipates declaring Condition of Readiness (COR) 1 at midnight tonight. A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Guam, meaning tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are expected early Wednesday morning.
Additionally, the National Weather Service (NWS) Guam has issued a Coast Flood Advisory in Effect for Guam until Thursday at 6 a.m. Expected impacts are flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.

Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 Declared at 5 p.m.
As of 5 p.m. today, Acting Governor Josh Tenorio and Rear Admiral Brent De Vore have placed Guam and the respective military bases in Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 due to the increased speed of Tropical Storm Man-Yi. At COR 2, schools and non-essential government offices are closed.
Tropical Storm Man-Yi is projected to impact early Wednesday through Wednesday evening. At 5 p.m. ChST, Tropical Storm Man-Yi is 195 miles east of Guam, moving West toward Guam at 18 mph with sustained winds at 45mph.

At COR 2 schools and non-essential government offices will be closed. Tropical Storm Man-Yi is projected to impact early Wednesday through Wednesday evening.
At 1:00 p.m. ChST, Tropical Storm Man-Yi is 265 miles East of Guam, moving West toward Guam at 18 mph with sustained winds at 45mph.
All GDOE Schools Closed November 13, 2024; Shelters to Open at 700pm this evening
In response to the impending weather conditions, Acting Governor Josh Tenorio has declared Guam to be in Condition of Readiness 3 (COR 3) as of 12:00 p.m and COR 2 to be announced at 6:00pm this evening. Consequently, the Guam Department of Education announced the cancellation of classes on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Acting Governor Josh Tenorio and Rear Admiral Brent De Vore will place Guam and the respective military bases in Condition of Readiness (COR) 3 at 12 noon today. At COR 3, damaging winds of 39-57 mph are expected within 48 hours. At COR 3, the Government of Guam remains open.
COR 2 is forecasted for 6:00pm this evening. At COR 2 schools and non-essential government offices will be closed. Tropical Storm Man-Yi is projected to impact early Wednesday Morning.
Tropical Storm Warning in Effect, Man-Yi (25W) Continuing West-SouthWest
The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam issued a Tropical Storm Warning in Effect for Guam and Rota. A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm conditions including winds of 39 mph or greater expected within 24 hours.
Tropical Storm Man-Yi is currently 385 miles East of Guam. Maximum sustained winds remain at 45 mph. Man-yi is forecast to slowly intensify through WednesdayTropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 70 miles.
Tropical Storm Watch in Effect, Man-yi (25W) Continuing Towards Marianas
The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam issued a Tropical Storm Watch in Effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan. A tropical storm watch means that tropical storm conditions including winds of 39 mph or greater are possible as early as Tuesday night or Wednesday.

- Swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deep water
- If caught in a rip current, relax and float
- If able, swim in the direction following the shoreline
TD25W (93W) Forms NW of Marshall Islands, Invest 94W to pass Guam Sunday and Monday
The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam is monitoring two circulations in our region. Tropical Depression 25W previously Invest 93W currently NorthWest of the Marshall Islands and Invest 94, SouthWest of Chuuk.
Invest 94W is now unlikely to develop into a Tropical Depression and is still projected to pass SouthWest of Guam, tomorrow, Sunday through Monday (Veterans Day).
Projected impacts for 94W are 20-25mph winds with gusts up to 30-35mph. Locally heavy rainfall with 2-4 inches of rain through Monday.
Invest 94W is now unlikely to develop into a Tropical Depression and is still projected to pass SouthWest of Guam, tomorrow, Sunday through Monday (Veterans Day).
