The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 13 individuals for COVID-19 on Monday, April 6, 2020 with conclusive results. One tested positive through DPHSS and 12 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Additional results will be provided later this evening once today’s test results are finalized.

Three (3) additional cases tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 through the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego.
The Joint Information Center was recently notified that on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 6:41 p.m. (ChST), Guam’s fourth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH). The patient was a 67-year-old female with underlying health issues, which were compounded by COVID-19. The patient had recent travel history to the Philippines.
