Second Booster Dose Vaccination Clinics at Senior Citizens Centers Begins
The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Division of Senior Citizens (DSC), in partnership with the Mayors’ Council of Guam, is now offering second doses of the COVID-19 booster to adults 50 years of age and older, or to individuals 12 years and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised, at Senior Citizens Centers across the island. All eligible individuals are encouraged to get their second booster shots. Please see the schedule below:

When performing at-home COVID-19 test kits, results must be reported to the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) at dphss.surveillance@dphss.guam.gov.

Three COVID-19-related Fatalities Reported
Today, the Joint Information Center was notified of three COVID-19-related fatalities:
The 359th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on April 1, 2022. The patient was a 70-year-old male, fully vaccinated with one booster, with underlying health conditions, who tested positive on March 31.
COVID-19 Test Results: 38 New Cases Reported
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported 38 new cases of COVID-19 from 673 specimens analyzed May 11, 2022. 11 of the cases reported today are through the Department of Defense. To date, there have been a total of 48,469 officially reported cases, 358 deaths, 226 cases in active isolation, and 47,885 not in active isolation.
Two Hospitalized for COVID-19
COVID-19 Test Results: 30 New Cases Reported
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported 30 new cases of COVID-19 from 712 specimens analyzed May 10, 2022. 13 of the cases reported today are through the Department of Defense. To date, there have been a total of 48,431 officially reported cases, 358 deaths, 195 cases in active isolation, and 47,878 not in active isolation.
