High Risk of Rip Currents and Small Craft Advisory Remain in Effect
A high risk of rip currents remains in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan through Sunday morning along east facing reefs. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from the shore into deeper water. If caught in a rip current, do not swim against the current. Swim in a direction following the shoreline, face the shore and call or wave for help.
Small Craft Advisory Remains in Effect through the Weekend

DPHSS Ended Free COVID-19 Testing at Agana Shopping Center
Friday, March 10, 2023 was the last day the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) offered free COVID-19 testing for residents. For COVID-19 testing, residents may order free COVID-19 rapid test kits through USPS or through their health insurance. COVID-19 testing is also available through private clinics or the DPHSS Community Health Centers in Dededo or Inalåhan. Please call these clinics to schedule and to inquire on fees.
Flood Advisory in Effect; Practice Caution in Heavy Rain
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Tiyan Guam has issued a flood advisory for Guam until 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. Urban and small stream flooding from excessive rainfall is expected, mainly for central and southern Guam.
Up to 0.8 inches of rain have fallen in central Guam. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.6 inches are expected over the area.
