The U.S. Geological Survey recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.6 that occurred near Kepulauan Tanimbar, Indonesia, with a depth of 95.2 km, at 3:47 a.m. (ChST).
As advised by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, there is no tsunami threat to Guam or the Northern Mariana Islands at this time.
