The strong thunderstorms are capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 32 NM east of Ritidian buoy to near Cocos Island, moving west at 15 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, potential waterspouts, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek harbor until these storms pass.
