Results: One New Case of COVID-19
One (1) new case of COVID-19 was identified out of 363 tests performed on July 22. To date, there have been a total of 8,501 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 143 deaths, 47 cases in active isolation, and 8,311 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.1.
Operation Liberate Guam update: To date, a total of 94,846 or 79.01% of adults have received either both doses in the two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) or the single-dose series (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Continued Scattered Showers Expected through Next Week; High Surf Advisory in Effect Saturday Morning
Through this weekend and early next week, showers are expected to be largely episodic in nature, quickly approaching, bringing gusty winds and moderate to heavy rainfall.
AHAWS Siren from Yona Mayors Office Not Connected to Emergency
The Yona AHAWS siren is NOT connected with any emergency situation and assessments are being made on the system. Future tests of the AHAWS sirens will be conducted on a monthly basis and will typically fall on the first Tuesday of each month, unless it falls on an observed holiday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office has issued a short term forecast for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan, and their coastal waters.
A surface trough from the south will combine with some daytime island heating to bring passing showers and thunderstorms to much of the Marianas and coastal waters through 6 p.m. Up to an inch and a half of rainfall will be possible along with gusts up to 20 mph near showers and thunderstorms.

DPHSS Continues COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at Micronesia Mall July 22 - 24
The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) continues its COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Micronesia Mall from Thursday, July 22 through Saturday, July 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as part of the department’s “Liberation Day Immunization.” Residents who receive their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna two-dose series vaccines, or their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen (J&J/Janssen) vaccine will receive a $20 gas coupon while supplies last.
