JIC RELEASE NO. 362 - Forty-second COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported;GBHWC Crisis Hotline Available 24/7

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s forty-second COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 1:25 a.m. this morning. The patient was an 83-year-old female with underlying health conditions that were compounded by COVID-19. She was admitted to GMH on August 28 and was a known COVID-19 case. 

 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 359 - DPHSS Issues Guidance Memo 2020-39

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued Guidance Memo 2020-39 to advise the public of restrictions and allowances for business and government operations in accordance with Executive Order No. 2020-34 during the current Pandemic Conditions of Readiness (PCOR) 1, which was declared by Executive Order No. 2020-27.

 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 358 - Thirty-ninth COVID-19-Related Fatality; GBHWC Crisis Hotline Available 24/7

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s thirty-ninth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 8:40 p.m. last night. He was transferred to GMH after testing positive upon admission to Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on August 28. The patient was a 66-year-old male with underlying health conditions that were compounded by COVID-19. 

 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 356 - Thirty-eighth COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported;GBHWC Crisis Hotline Available 24/7

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s thirty-eighth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 6:55 a.m. The patient was a 76-year-old female with underlying health conditions that were compounded by COVID-19. She was transferred to GMH on September 18 after testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 at Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC).
