JIC RELEASE NO. 53 - Profiles of Earlier Confirmed Cases; Governor Signs Executive Order Nos. 2020-08 and 2020-09; Public Health Emergency Extended

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 19 individuals for COVID-19 on Saturday, April 4, 2020 with conclusive results. Six (6) tested positive through DPHSS and 13 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Additional results will be provided later this evening once today’s test results are finalized. 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 50 - Fourth COVID-19 Related Fatality on Guam

The Joint Information Center was recently notified that on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 6:41 p.m. (ChST), Guam’s fourth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH). The patient was a 67-year-old female with underlying health issues, which were compounded by COVID-19. The patient had recent travel history to the Philippines.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 48 - Profiles of Earlier Confirmed Cases; GDOE Grab-N-Go School Meals Update; Guidance for Jury Duty

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 41 individuals for COVID-19 on Thursday, April 2, 2020 with conclusive results. Five (5) tested positive through DPHSS and 36 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The DPHSS overall count also includes six positive cases that were tested by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego. Additional results will be provided later this evening once today’s test results are finalized.

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 41 individuals for COVID-19 on Thursday, April 2, 2020 with conclusive results. Five (5) tested positive through DPHSS and 36 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The DPHSS overall count also includes six positive cases that were tested by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 45 - Profiles of Earlier Confirmed Cases; DPHSS Updates; USS Theodore Roosevelt Updates

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 41 individuals for COVID-19 on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 with conclusive results. Six (6) tested positive through DPHSS and 35 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The Guam overall count also includes six positive cases that were tested by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego. Additional results will be provided later this evening once today’s test results are finalized.
