Two COVID-19-Related Fatalities Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 110th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 9:40 a.m. The patient was a 61-year-old male with underlying conditions that were further compounded by COVID-19. He was admitted to GMH on October 15, 2020 and was a known positive case.
109th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 109th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 11:02 a.m. The patient was a 65-year-old male with underlying conditions that were further compounded by COVID-19. He was admitted to GMH on October 22, 2020 and was a known positive case.

107th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 107th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 12:15 a.m. The patient was a 55-year-old female with underlying conditions that were further compounded by COVID-19. She was admitted to GMH on November 8, 2020 and tested positive upon admission.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.3 that struck about 84 miles east northeast of Guam, with a depth of 76.1 km, at 10 a.m. (ChST).
There were no reports made to Guam 911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake.
Results: 53 Test Positive for COVID-19
To date, there have been a total of 6,602 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 106 deaths, 1,605 cases in active isolation and 4,846 not in active isolation.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a flash flood warning for Guam until 3:30p.m. A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring within the warned area.
Impacts include flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas. Flooding of public roadways is possible in some areas. Landslides are possible in steep terrain.
The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam upgraded the flood advisory to a flash flood warning, in effect for Guam until 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, which means flooding is occurring or imminent.
