Notice to All Health Regulated Establishments

The Division of Environmental Health of the Department of Public Health and Social Services would like to remind all health-regulated establishments that in the event of a power and/or water outage, affected businesses must ensure appropriate measures are implemented in protecting their customers:
 

Tropical Depression 10W Upgraded to Tropical Storm Maria; Track Updated Again to Pass Southern Tip of Guam

At 1 a.m., the National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam, updated the advisory for Tropical Depression 10W, which has been upgraded toTropical Storm Maria. The current forecast track now has Tropical Storm Maria passing near the southernmost tip of Guam, with the Closest Point of Approach (CPA) between 6 – 7 a.m. Heavy rains and strong winds are expected to continue before and even after the system passes the island.

Tropical Depression Track Changes; Strong Winds, Heavy Rain Expected Thursday – Even After System Passes

At 7:23 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam, updated the advisory for Tropical Depression 10W. The current forecast track now has Tropical Depression 10W passing through the Rota channel on Thursday morning. Heavy rains and strong winds are expected to continue even after the system passes the island.

Tropical Depression Exact Track Uncertain; Guam Remains in COR 4

At 8:30 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office Guam updated the advisory for Tropical Depression 10W. Guam remains in a tropical storm warning, meaning damaging winds of 39 mph or more are expected within 24 hoursA tropical storm watch remains in effect for Rota, Tinian and Saipan.
