JIC RELEASE NO. 866 -Governor Leon Guerrero Signs Executive Order No. 2021-30; COVID-19 Test Results: 20 New Cases, 12 Hospitalized; 65 Cases with Variants Identified; Revised COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Schedule

Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order No. 2021-30, relative to extending the public health emergency. Effective November 30, 2021, the public health emergency declaration is now scheduled to expire on December 30, 2021.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 862 - DPHSS Issues Guidance Memorandum 2022-05

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued Guidance Memorandum 2022-05, relative to amending vaccination requirements and limitations on social gatherings and congregations, in accordance with Executive Orders No. 2021-20, and 2021-29 during the current Pandemic Condition of Readiness 3 (PCOR 3), which was declared by Executive Order No. 2021-16 on July 21, 2021.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 861 - COVID-19 Booster Shot Eligibility Expands; Preliminary COVID-19 Test Results: Four New Cases, 16 Hospitalized

Today, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approved the COVID-19 vaccine boosters for all adults. Individuals 18 years and older who received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine (first two doses) are eligible for a single booster shot at least 6 months or more after their initial series.
