Whole Community Inclusive Economic Recovery Training Offered Virtually

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), will host the Whole Community Inclusive Economic Recovery (PER-386) training on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The four-and-a-half hour training is offered virtually at no cost to eligible participants, The course is an introduction to economic recovery planning using a whole community approach, in which the entire community works together in planning for economic recovery. It is designed to increase awareness of how inclusive collaborations with diverse populations can enhance community resilience and safety; and will introduce overarching tools, strategies, and processes through practical application.

The target audience for this course include emergency management personnel, community volunteers, and partners from the Government of Guam, federal, military, private, and non-profit organizations.
