Thunderstorm Advisory in Effect; Practice Caution

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a thunderstorm advisory, in effect for the Guam International Airport until 10 a.m. this morning. Thunderstorms are occurring within 20 nautical miles of the airport.

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) remind the community to be alert and take precautions as required. Practice caution on the roadways, driving below the speed limit and allowing enough braking distance between vehicles. If lightning is seen or thunder is heard, remain indoors.
