Boaters can expect visibility down to a quarter of a mile with wind gusts to 20 knots in heavy showers. If thunder is heard or lightning is seen, boaters are advised to get below deck and avoid touching metal parts. For those near the shores, return to harbor until weather has improved.
A thunderstorm advisory is in effect for the Guam International Airport until 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Thunderstorms are expected within 20 nautical miles of the airport. Be alert and take precautions as required.
