An airport wind advisory is in effect for the Guam International Airport until 7 p.m. this evening. Winds from the east at 15 to 20 knots with higher gusts up to 35 knots are expected.
A small craft advisory remains in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan coastal waters until 6 a.m. Wednesday. Seas will be choppy. East winds of 15 to 25 knots and seas as high as 8 feet will produce hazardous conditions for operators of small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid sailing in these conditions.
The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) remind all residents and visitors to practice caution while out on the roadways, driving below the speed limit and allowing enough braking distance between vehicles.
