The Office of Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense (OHS-OCD) invite the community to the National Preparedness Month (NPM) Grand Finale on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Agana Shopping Center.
The NPM Grand Finale marks the culmination of National Preparedness Month, observed each September to raise awareness about disaster and emergency readiness. This year’s theme, “Preparedness Starts at Home,” highlights the importance of getting back to the essentials of preparedness.
"National Preparedness Month is about empowering our community to stay ready and resilient in the face of any emergency," said Esther Aguigui, Homeland Security Advisor. "We invite everyone to join us for the NPM Grand Finale. It’s a great opportunity for families to learn, connect with local emergency partners, and take simple steps to protect what matters most."
Attendees can enjoy free informational giveaways, participate in trivia opportunities for prizes, and explore indoor exhibits and outdoor vehicle displays from government agencies, military and federal partners, non-profits, healthcare providers, and more.
