94W; Projected To Pass Guam Sunday through Monday

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam is monitoring a circulation southeast of Chuuk, Invest 94W, which is expected to become better organized as it heads northwestward this weekend. Latest model guidance shows 94W passing near or southwest of Guam Sunday or Monday (Veteran's Day).

Invest 94W's passage is expected to bring winds of 20-25 mph with gusts around 35 mph, locally heavy rainfall and potentially hazardous seas for small craft.

The offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense remind residents to continue to monitor official channels for updates.
