Typhoon Mangkut, the Guam Police Department has formulated a recovery Task Force which consists of traffic direction and crime suppression team.
With the Traffic Direction Task Force, GPD is being assisted by guard members assigned to the Guam Army National Guard. Traffic direction will be provided to major intersections with none working traffic lights from 6:00am-6:00pm. The community is advised to please proceed with caution will traveling through the intersections as guard members and police officers will be present. Please be mindful, that all unmanned and none functional traffic intersection to treat as a 4 way stop.
As we move forward in recovery, GPD’s Crime Suppression Task Force will be operating a 24 hour operation. We continue to ask the community to remain vigilant and report all suspicious and criminal activities to our dispatchers at 472-8911 or 475-8615/6/7.
