Red Flag Warning Remains in Effect for Extreme Fire Weather Danger

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office advised gusty winds and dry vegetation will maintain a high fire threat.

East winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 35 mph over higher terrain, and humidity at 50 to 60 percent are expected. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Conditions will ease during nighttime hours, then return during the day. Refrain from outdoor burning.

small craft advisory is in effect for the coastal waters of Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan until 6 p.m. Wednesday. East winds of 15 to 20 knots, with gusts to 30 knots, and seas of 5 to 8 feet are expected. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
