Results: 27 Test Positive for COVID-19
To date, there have been a total of 7,004 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 113 deaths, 835 cases in active isolation and 6,056 not in active isolation. 

As of December 6, 2020, the COVID Area Risk (CAR) Score is 2.0 and will be recalculated once reports from all participating labs are up to date. The CAR Score accounts for the incidence of new cases, how well current testing identifies these cases, and the rate of spread. Guam’s ideal CAR Score is 5.0 and below. Food Commodities Distribution Through Village Mayors Continues
The Guam Department of Education (GDOE), State Agency for the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Nutrition Service (FNS), continues the distribution of food commodities through each mayor at the village level.  Village distribution will be conducted via drive-through or door-to-door delivery. Recipients will receive one bag of TEFAP food commodities per household that may include elbow macaroni, split peas, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, canned pears, mixed fruit, canned beef, canned pork or canned chicken, instant milk, kidney beans, oat circle cereal, banana chips, and only village drive-through distributions will receive frozen orange juice.  

Food commodities will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Commodity distribution in each village will be available to village constituents only and residents should call their respective mayor’s office for more information. Participants are reminded to wear a mask, maintain physical distancing, and follow all traffic directions and signage.

Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 Drive-through at the Yigo Gymnasium from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. Individuals carpooling should obtain a Mayor’s Verification prior to the distribution date in order to verify separate households. If there are remaining bags from the drive-through, door-to-door, delivery will begin on Friday, Dec. 11. Those who did not receive a bag for various reasons (i.e. no transportation, elderly persons, etc.) will be prioritized. Contact the Yigo Mayor's Office at 653-5248/9446 for more information.
