The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.3 that struck about 84 miles east northeast of Guam, with a depth of 76.1 km, at 10 a.m. (ChST).
There were no reports made to Guam 911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake.
