Cumulative Results
To date, there have been a total of 3,170 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 60 deaths, 921 cases in active isolation and 2,189 not in active isolation. Of those cases, 2,890 are classified as civilians and 280 are military service members. These represent cases confirmed from March 12 to October 11.
Because the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) releases the official COVID-19 Dashboard and Situation Report on weekdays, cases officially reported on Monday reflect results confirmed from Friday to Sunday.
An additional 92 cases of COVID-19 were officially reported to DPHSS, today. These 92 cases were confirmed over a three day period, between October 9-11.
From October 9-11, a total of 181 new cases of COVID-19 were officially reported. Eighty-nine (89) of these cases were previously reported by the Joint Information Center on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, which reflect results from DPHSS. The breakdown of reporting to DPHSS by day is as follows:
- 107 on October 9
- 50 on October 10
- 24 on October 11
Of the 181 cases, 48 cases were identified through contact tracing. Four (4) cases reported recent travel from the United States and were identified in quarantine.
The following breakdown provides cumulative COVID-19 test results reported to the Joint Information Center on Monday, October 12 and reflects results from Friday, October 9 - Sunday, October 11:

One GDOE Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19
On Monday, October 12, 2020, the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) confirmed that one GDOE employee from Finegayan Elementary School (FES) tested positive for COVID-19. This case was identified through contact tracing efforts.
FES will remain open and areas of the campus will be identified for cleaning and disinfecting as needed. Employees will not have access to these areas until cleaning has been completed. Hard copy packet and food distribution will continue uninterrupted.
