Good Evening.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a flash flood warning, in effect for North Central Guam, until 5:45 pm this afternoon. Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.6 and 1.4 inches of rain have fallen.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a flood advisory, in effect for southern-central Guam, until 4:00pm this afternoon.
While the application period for federal assistance has ended, federal assistance continues to make its way into the hands of Guam survivors of Typhoon Mawar. To date, more than $201 million in low interest disaster loans from the SBA and direct disaster assistance through FEMA have flowed into communities to help jumpstart the recovery process.
