The National Weather Service (NWS), Guam Weather Forecast Office has the following advisories in effect:
A high surf advisory is in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan until 6 p.m. this evening, meaning high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area, producing localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions. Hazardous surf of 7 to 9 feet along north facing reefs and surf as high as 9 feet along east facing reefs is expected.

The National Weather Service (NWS), Guam Weather Forecast Office advised Tropical Depression 01W has dissipated as a tropical system. All tropical storm watches and warnings have been discontinued and it no longer poses a threat to the Marshall Islands or the Marianas.

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) received reports of an outdated WhatsApp voice message circulating social media and chat groups. The outdated message is seemingly from a brief from Typhoon Mangkhut back in September 2018 and does not reflect the current status.
