JIC RELEASE NO. 770 - DPHSS Form SA-01 Available; COVID-19 Hospital Census: 29; Preliminary Results: 84 of 1,002 Test Positive for COVID-19; More COVID-19 Updates

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued Form SA-01, relative to declaration of individuals attesting to COVID-19 vaccination to enter establishments, in accordance with Section B, Item 2(a)(i) of DPHSS Guidance Memo 2021-21. CLICK HERE to download Form SA-01. Under DPHSS Guidance Memo 2021-21, covered establishments may accept self-attestation as proof of vaccination. Covered establishments must keep self-attestation forms on file for a period of thirty (30) days and present them to DPHSS upon request.
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 769 - DPHSS Issues Guidance Memo 2021-21

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued DPHSS Guidance Memo 2021-21, relative to the limitations on social gatherings and congregations, and suspending in-person learning, in accordance with Executive Order No. 2021-21. DPHSS Guidance Memo 2021-21 also provides further clarifications on the vaccination requirements for establishments, activities, and organized sports in accordance with Executive Order No. 2021-20.

 
   

Thunderstorm Advisory in Effect

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a thunderstorm advisory, in effect for the Guam International Airport until 6:00 p.m. this evening. Thunderstorms are occurring within 5 nautical miles of the airport.

Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order No. 2021-21, relative to suspending in-person learning and amending social gathering restrictions and orders such that:
   

Heavy Showers and Gusty Winds Over Guam; Practice Caution in Heavy Rain

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a special weather statement for Guam. Through 7:30 p.m., a line of showers is moving across Guam, bringing heavy rainfall and winds gusting up to 35 mph. Thunderstorms are possible, especially over central Guam. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen over central and northern Guam.
   

Thunderstorm Advisory in Effect

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a thunderstorm advisory, in effect for the Guam International Airport until 6:30 p.m. this evening. Thunderstorms are possible or occurring within 20 nautical miles of the airport. Be alert and take precautions as required. If lightning is seen or thunder is heard, remain indoors.
