JIC RELEASE NO. 643 - Thirteen of 530 Test Positive for COVID-19; UPDATED COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule

Results: Thirteen New Cases of COVID-19
Thirteen (13) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 530 tests performed on Tuesday, April 20. Three (3) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 7,897 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 136 deaths, 61 cases in active isolation, and 7,700 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.8.

Participants must submit a consent form prior to receiving the vaccine. Printed copies are available at JFK. An online PDF form is available at https://tinyurl.com/3xvaw4b3

Participants may schedule online appointments https://tinyurl.com/2bjt2dwc. Participants will be instructed to enter through the A-wing and directed to exit through the gymnasium after they complete their observation period. To preserve the gymnasium court, participants are asked to refrain from wearing stilettos or high heels. For information, email matfranquez@gdoe.net.

FOR: Residents 16 years and older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. Upon arrival, individuals 60 years and older will be sent to the front of the line.
