JIC RELEASE NO. 636 - Five of 315 Test Positive for COVID-19; UPDATED: COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule; COVID-19 Vaccination Outreach Saturday and Sunday

Results: Five New Cases of COVID-19

Five (5) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 315 tests performed on Wednesday, April 14. Three (3) cases were identified through contact tracing. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine.

 

To date, there have been a total of 7,856 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 136 deaths, 42 cases in active isolation, and 7,678 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.3.

Those who pre-registered for the event will be prioritized. 

FOR: Residents 16 years and older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. Upon arrival, individuals 60 years and older will be sent to the front of the line.

 

COVID-19 Vaccination Outreach on Saturday and Sunday

The Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC), in partnership with the Mayors’ Council of Guam (MCOG), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) Consulate Office, DPHSS, the FSM Association of Guam, Micronesian Resource Center One-Stop Shop, Chuukese Catholic Faith Association, University of Guam (UOG) Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, and other FSM community organizations and leaders, will hold a COVID-19 vaccination outreach on Saturday, April 17 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at GRMC in Dededo. Those who received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on March 28 at the Dededo Senior Center and are due for dose two will be prioritized. Please bring a photo ID.

 

The American Medical Center (AMC), in partnership with the MCOG, GRMC, the FSM Consulate Office, DPHSS, the FSM Association of Guam, Micronesian Resource Center One-Stop Shop, Chuukese Catholic Faith Association, UOG Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, and other FSM community organizations and leaders, will hold a COVID-19 vaccination outreach on Sunday, April 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tamuning Senior Center in Tamuning. Those who pre-registered for the event will be prioritized. Please bring a photo ID.
