Results: Three New Cases of COVID-19
Three (3) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 568 tests performed Tuesday, April 6. One (1) case was identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 7,828 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 136 deaths, 30 cases in active isolation, and 7,662 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.2.


DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2021-10 (Addendum No. 1)
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued Guidance Memorandum 2021-10 (Addendum No. 1), to update Item B.13.c. in DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2021-10 (Authorized Businesses and Services During PCOR 3 Relative to Executive Order 2021-07) to align with Item C.8. of DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2021-08 (Organized Sports, Non-Contact Training and Competition, Executive  Order 2021-04). Item B.13.c. will now read:

“13.  Organized Sports, Non-Contact Training; provided, 6 feet distance is maintained, including while in an enclosed space, and:…

c.  If held outdoors, the number of participants is limited to no more than fifty (50) persons who are allowed only one guest per player; and”


All other provisions in DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2021-10 remain unchanged. Written mitigation plans and requests for authorization are to be submitted to PCOR3plans@dphss.guam.gov. COVID-19 Community Testing on Friday, April 9
COVID-19 community testing will be held on Friday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Micronesia Mall parking (adjacent to the Ross parking garage). DPHSS will administer 200 COVID-19 tests, first-come, first-served. No symptoms are needed to qualify for testing. Bring a photo ID. Testing for travel purposes will not be conducted at these community testing sites. Individuals seeking COVID-19 testing to travel off-island may contact the DPHSS Northern Region Community Health Center at 635-7525/6 to schedule an appointment. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. The parent or legal guardian will also be required to sign a consent form on behalf of the minor to be tested for COVID-19. For the safety of the community and nurses, only four (4) people per vehicle are allowed to be tested. 

 

COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule
COVID-19 vaccination clinics continue at the locations and times below. Bring a photo ID. Those due for their second dose are reminded to bring their COVID-19 immunization card. 

Although walk-ins are accepted, residents are encouraged to register with their respective mayor’s office.

ELIGIBILITY: Residents 16 years and older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. Upon arrival, individuals 60 years and older will be sent to the front of the line.

COVID-19 vaccination clinics continue at the UOG Fieldhouse. Residents are encouraged to schedule an Eventbrite appointment HERE or at the link provided above. Bring a digital or hard copy appointment confirmation, a photo ID, and proof of Guam residency (Guam Driver's License, Guam ID, Green Card, US, FSM, Palau, or RMI Passport). Those due for their second dose are reminded to bring their COVID-19 immunization card.

 

Food Commodities Distribution Continues
The Guam Department of Education, State Agency for the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) under the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Nutrition Service distribution will be available to village constituents only.

Yigo Gym

Drive-thru distribution for 1,000 Yigo constituents while supplies last. Individuals carpooling should obtain a Yigo Mayor’s verification before the distribution date to verify separate households. One bag per household. If there are remaining bags, staff will deliver door-to-door for those with no transportation, elderly persons, etc. For more information, or to schedule pick-up/delivery, contact the Yigo Mayor’s Office at 653-5248/9446.
