GHURA Section 8 Office Closed on Monday
The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority (GHURA) Section 8 office will be closed on Monday, October 19, due to an employee who recently tested positive for COVID-19. GHURA’s internal contact tracing is underway, and all other employees identified as close contacts through this effort will be tested. Affected areas of GHURA are scheduled for cleaning and disinfection. Operations will resume on Tuesday.

DRT Employee Tests Positive, No Interruption in Services
The Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT) will continue operations this week, despite an employee who tested positive for COVID-19. Working with DPHSS, DRT previously instituted alternating work group schedules, often referred to as “bubbles,” to comply with health and safety protocols. This has helped ensure continuity of services in the event of potential or actual exposure.

The affected employee, as well as identified close contacts, will not return to work until given clearance from DPHSS. Impacted areas have been sanitized and disinfected and cleared for re-entry. In accordance with Executive Order 2020-34, services continue by appointment only. For more information, visit the Guam DRT COVID-19 Services Series
