JIC RELEASE NO. 294 - Cumulative Results: 112 Test Positive for COVID-19; Profiles of Confirmed Cases

COVID-19 test results are reported from multiple labs at varying times of the day. The Joint Information Center will report cumulative COVID-19 test results once a day, unless unavailable.

Of the 112 newly reported cases, 24 cases were identified through contact tracing.

One COVID-19 case was identified and reported deceased at Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) on August 27; this case will be officially included in tomorrow's surveillance dashboard. 

To date, there have been a total of 1,232 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 10 deaths, 456 not in isolation, and 766 cases in active isolation. Of those cases, 1,049 are classified as civilians and 183 are military service members.
