JIC Release No. 28 - TWO NORTHERN SHELTERS FULL: RESIDENTS DIVERTED


Northern residents seeking shelter should proceed to M.A. Ulloa Elementary, Juan M. Guerrero Elementary, or Wettengel Elemenetary. Once shelters reach capacity, seek nearest alternative Storm Shelter.

Residents who believe their home is not safe against heavy winds and rains or live in low-lying or flood-prone areas are encouraged to move to a designated storm shelter.

Astumbo Elementary and F.B. Leon Guerrero shelters have reached maximum capacity and can NO LONGER ACCEPT RESIDENTS.

For residents seeking shelter at Astumbo Elementary School, the closest shelter is Juan M. Guerrero Elementary in Harmon across Cost-U-Less.

For residents seeking shelter at F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School, the closest shelter is M.A. Ulloa Elementar in Kaiser near Island Girl Power.

Machananao Elementary School is approaching capacity; the closest shelter is M.A. Ulloa Elementary in Kaiser near Island Girl Power or Wettengel Elementary School located across Dededo Department of Public Health and Social Services.
