To date, there have been a total of 516 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 5 deaths, 345 released from isolation, and 166 active cases. Of those cases, 457 are classified as civilians and 59 are military service members.
Over 1400 Samples Collected on August 15
As a result of the large number of samples collected from community testing sites throughout the island, the official update of results for August 15 will be released as they become available. The following is a breakdown of the number of test samples collected at each testing site on August 15:

Division of Public Welfare Operations during PCOR 1
The Division of Public Welfare announces the following instructions during Pandemic Condition of Readiness 1, effective August 16, 2020:

Renewal Notices:

Will be mailed to customers whose benefits will be expiring in September, 2020;

The Eligibility Specialists (ES) will not be conducting a face-to-face interview; customers are required to submit their renewal application and required documents through the drop box at their respective centers or send an email to publicassistance@dphss.guam.
gov ; and -
Customers are advised to provide a reliable contact number should the ES have questions or need further clarification.

Applications, Change Reports, Periodic Change Reports:

Please drop off documents at your respective centers using the drop box at the Northern or Central Office (located in the RanCare Building in Tamuning across from National Office Supply)

Work Programs Section (WPS):
-
Recipients participating in the Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Program (JOBS) or Guam Employment Training Program (GETP) are excused from participating until such time they are contacted by their assigned JOBS/GETP Case Manager/Social Worker.

Participant Reimbursement Requests (PRR) for transportation and/or work-related expenses for the month of July 2020 (which are due no later than August 31, 2020) will be accepted by the end of the month in which PCOR 3 is expected to be declared.
