JIC RELEASE NO. 220 - Cumulative Results: One Tests Positive for COVID-19; Profiles of Confirmed Cases; DPHSS Issues Guidance Memo 2020-28

COVID-19 test results are reported from multiple labs at varying times of the day. The Joint Information Center will report cumulative COVID-19 test results once a day.

DPHSS tested 250 individuals for COVID-19 on Thursday, July 9, 2020 with conclusive results. One tested positive and 249 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Results include 191 samples from COVID-19 community testing held at the Astumbo Gym on July 8. The positive case was identified through community screening.

To date, there have been a total of 310 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 5 deaths, 202 released from isolation, and 103 active cases. Of those cases, 264 are classified as civilians and 46 are military service members.
