SIX ADDITIONAL GDOE SCHOOLS WILL OPEN, BRINGING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF OPEN GDOE SCHOOLS TO 29
The Guam Department of Education informs the community that six additional schools will open on Friday, September 14, 2018, due to the restoration of power. This brings the total number of GDOE schools that will open doors to students tomorrow to 29.
The additional schools opening Friday are Daniel L. Perez Elementary School, Ordot Chalan Pago Elementary School, Talofofo Elementary School, Agueda I. Johnston Middle School, Simon Sanchez High School and Southern High School. The full list of schools that will open Friday includes the following:

The remaining 12 schools will remain closed pending the resolution of issues including lack of power. The schools that will remain closed on Friday are the following:

Classes resume tomorrow, Friday, September 14. Students may wear their SPCS uniform or dress down free of charge in accordance with the Civilian Day Guidelines.
Reminder, Parent Teacher Conferences have been moved to Wednesday, September 19 from 4pm-8pm. That is a regular instructional day.
