The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 320 individuals for COVID-19 on Thursday, June 18, 2020 with conclusive results. One tested positive through DPHSS and 319 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Results include 134 samples from COVID-

19 drive-through testing held at the Senior Center in Santa Rita on Wednesday and 177 samples from COVID-19 drive-through testing held at the Saint Anthony church grounds in Tamuning today.

Four new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by the Department of Defense (DoD) and were reported earlier today.

To date, there have been 193 cases confirmed through COVID-19 testing provided with 5 deaths, 170 released from isolation, and 18 active cases. New criteria for release of cases from isolation were implemented on May 22. For persons having symptoms, at least 10 days have passed since recovery defined as resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) and any other symptoms attributed to COVID-19 infection AND at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared—or, with recurrent symptoms, at least 10 days have passed since recurrent symptoms appeared—AND at least 14 days have passed since the date of their first (or most recent) positive COVID-19 diagnostic test. For persons without symptoms, at least 14 days have passed since the date of their first (or most recent) positive COVID-19 diagnostic test assuming they have not subsequently developed symptoms since their positive test.

DPHSS Releases Guidance Memo 2020-23
In addition to Guidance Memos 2020-21 and 2020-22, DPHSS issued Guidance Memo 2020-23 relative to the minimum requirements for the operations of bars and taverns. The additional requirements supplements the Guam Food Code (GFC), which is the regulations that govern the operation of food establishments, such as bars and taverns, on island. The purpose of this guidance is to require additional measures, which must be taken to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 from person-to-person spread and touching contact surfaces in bars and taverns.

For inquiries on COVID-19, contact 311 through a local number, or call the Joint Information Center at (671) 478-0208/09/10.
